COMPLETE MACHINING CAPABILITIES
BT Crellin Aluminium Casting Machine  Company provides a complete range of machining services, from first operation production through secondary completion. CNC lathes, vertical machining centers, multiple spindle Acme Gridley automatics, and single spindle Brown & Sharpe screw granite crushing machines, are among the wide variety of equipment BT Crellin has available for manufacturing parts. We have long-standing associations with a number of reliable local sources for grinding, plating, and heat-treating, allowing us to provide a completed part to our customer. When required, BT Crellin Machine Company uses customer approved or designated vendors on outside processing. In addition to our machining abilities, the company has full CAD/CAM capabilities and will work with customers designing or modifying parts.
Production Capacity:
BT Crellin Machine Company is capable of machining most any sized part, however, for production purposes we range from 1/16" to 2 5/8" diameter stock.
Quality:
BT Crellin Machine Company prides itself on its reputation for quality.  Our goal of delivering quality parts, on time, at a reasonable price is the company's primary objective. In addition to our large inventory of micrometers, gages and measuring instrument we have several digital comparators located throughout the shop. Our machinists have been trained and are skilled in the use of this equipment. It is BT Crellin's philosophy that superior quality is obtained through the efforts of our machinists. The Quality Assurance Department's purpose is to train and educate, while acting as consultants for the machinists.
BT Crellin's Quality Assurance policy's and procedures comply with the requirements of MIL-I-45208A, MIL-STD-45662A, MIL-STD-105, ANSI / NC5LZ540-1, and ISO-10012. While we are not ISO certified, we are compliant with the current ISO requirements.
Materials:
We machine stainless steel, brass, aluminum, plastics, copper, and many of the more exotic materials such as Hastoloy, A286, and L-605. We specialize in the machining of Beryllium copper.
Competitive Range:
While we do some prototype work, BT Crellin is primarily a manufacturer of production run parts. We are extremely competitive in the 100-500,000-piece range.
